The Abbreviated Critic: “Daytona”

Rapper Pusha T released his Kanye-produced 7 track solo album May 25th  to unmitigated cultural acclaim. The achievement of this air tight oral history of the crack trade, however, was overshadowed by Pusha’s brutal takedown of the Canadian former rapper known as Drake, which was glorious in its own way.

Here’s Kwest-On’s one sentence review of Daytona.

“Grouchy old Golden Age rappers rejoice, for your 21st century messiah hath arrived, and he comes bearing diss tracks.”
